Ras Judah hails from Botswana in Southern Africa. He has been writing and performing music for over 20 years. Prior to his migration to New Zealand, Ras worked and toured with musicians from around Southern Africa, including; South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, and Malawi. In 2013 he moved to Wellington city to study at Victoria University. Once in Wellington, he started work with the current multicultural, 8 piece band, "Culture Embassy" - A full line up that plays Afro ethno-jazz, Reggae, and Folk Fusion.
